BIO

Jackie grew up in Highland Park, Illinois, just outside Chicago. She got her start taking piano lessons at 8 years old. When the teacher offered singing lessons to the girl humming along with Beethoven and Bach, her parents thought they were being scammed. It was not until the piano teacher explained that Jackie needed a real voice teacher that her parents realized their little girl had discovered her destiny.

Jackie began her vocal education with a "real voice teacher," Fay Kaiser, who taught her everything she knows about singing, and still continues to guide her to this day.

Jackie graduated from Highland Park High School. There she studied acting with two wonderful people, Scott Schallenbarger and Tim Conway, who taught her just as much about herself as performing. During the summers, she took classes at the Piven Theatre Workshop in Evanston, and participated in the Cherub Program at Northwestern University.

Four years after that, she graduated Cum Laude from Northwestern University with a B.S., a major in Theater and a Music Theater Certificate. Thanks to Ann Woodworth and Dominic Missimi who pushed her at every turn, she felt ready to do what she had always wanted to do... move to New York City.

Although, throughout the years, Jackie had performed in dozens of shows and participated in just as many events, it was not until moving to New York that her dreams became fully realized. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to do what she loves more than anything, but even more so, to have the most loving and supportive family a girl could hope for. Her mom, dad, brother, and sister had to endure a LOT of noise in the house growing up between the piano, guitar and singing. No one ever complained. In fact, often they would put in requests! Their faith has made it all possible.
